Hello @stephiielim @LaLa1969 @Lalagee @Jordyn3202, welcome to the Community forums. Sorry for the late response.
Thank you for confirming that you've been having the same problem with the screen that is not turning back on.
@stephiielim, I've sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but was informed that you already have a case created or that you already got in touch with them.
@LaLa1969, I'm sorry to see that you've also experienced trouble with the display. It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality of the product.
@Lalagee @Jordyn3202, I've gone ahead and sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance, so you should be getting a reply soon. Keep an eye on your inbox.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Yes David I understand your policy. It saddens me that I haven’t had my watch that long and I really love it. I’m just hesitant about purchasing another one. What is the life expectancy of a versa?

Thank you for your feedback @LaLa1969, and sorry for the late response.
I understand that we never expect to find these type of difficulties with the products we purchase.
In reality, there is no specific life expectancy for a Fitbit watch; there are people who haven't experienced any problems with their watches, but I'm aware there are many who have experienced difficulty with the display as well. Fitbit is working constantly to improve the quality of the products and all this feedback is useful for the team of developers.
Let me know if you have further questions.

@LaLa1969 I have exactly the same issue as you!! I’m so disappointed 😞
I’ve only had my Versa for 13-14 months, last Saturday it showed 18% and just died like that. Tried pressing two buttons, all three buttons, nothing works. It has never been in contact with water and I’ve never dropped it once...
When I contacted customer support and asked if there’s any way to fix the watch, they said the only way is to purchase a new one. I don’t understand...when things break, don’t people try to fix it first before purchasing a new one?? And if it breaks so easily with such gentle use and good care, how am I going to be confident that the new one will last more than 13-14 months??
I’m also afraid the Inspire HR I purchased for my mom will die once it passes the 13 month mark...
Let me know if you ended up purchasing a new one 🙂

this same thing happened to me. It won’t let me do a reset at all either. The app is showing it has 72% battery but can not find the device.

@Tamlynw I hope your device is under warranty... contact customer support! If you’re out of warranty, the only thing they could do is offer you 25% off a new device.
I bought a Versa Lite after my Versa died in 14 months (cuz I really liked my Versa, wish it lasted longer though). L

I have a Versa and had the same issue. After mine died, I charged overnight and it was little warm when I took it off the charger. I’ve tried resetting, restarting, holding all variations of the buttons for different times and it hasn’t turned on.

Hi, mine has randomly gone off today (was fully charged a couple of days ago) now it won’t re-start and won’t charge. It’s only 4 months old. Is this a common fault?
thank you
Mel

My fitbit will not turn on either. When I put it on the charger the red battery symbol with 0% flashed on for a second and then off. I already tried holding all 3 buttons to reset factory settings. This happened about a week ago when I sent to charge and I have not been able to get it to turn on since.

I’m in the same situation - my husbands screen on his Versa wouldn’t respond to touch so I attempted to turn it off and back on and it went off but never came back on. I’ve tried every combination of pressing the buttons and have also left it on the charger for a day. Very frustrating!
