Today i have done 9915 steps. In the watch under today's activity, it shows as 1946 calories burnt and in the mobile app, under today dashboard also it shows same as 1946 calories burnt. But if you scroll down in the mobile app, you will see lot of options like Stress Management, Wear your fitbit to bed, Track your mindfulness etc and in the below you will see walk dashboard. In that the calories burnt shows as 495. So there is inaccuracy in the measurement.

I suspect what you are calling the "walk dashboard" is showing is showing the statistics for one particular walk.
i.e. You burned 1946 total calories so far today; 495 of those calories were burned during a particular walk.

But how can u person burn 1946 calories a day? I am a businessman and i don't have much of a physical activity. Walking is the only excercise i do in the morning and rest of the day will spent in my office. That's why i suspect this readings.

Fitbit includes your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories, those you are always burning just to stay alive. These usually account for more than half you daily calorie burn. If you want to see your BMR, look at calorie burn chart overnight when you were asleep, and multuply that out for 24 hours.
