Wrong calories when deleted then re-added a workout

I logged a workout today and I burned approximately 500 calories in 1 hour. I forgot to stop logging the workout so it included 30 minutes of me sitting at a desk afterwards. I tried to edit the time of the workout, found that I couldn't, so I deleted it then re-added the workout for the correct time period. Now the workout says I only burned exactly 200 calories. Here are my questions: Why is the fitbit not showing the correct calories + steps that I know it counted, and how do I fix it?

Hi @ecf684, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you experienced with logging your workout. I understand your concern and would like to advise that when you manually log an activity, all the steps and calories burned that the watch recorded are overridden by the values for the manually logged activity. This ensures that your steps and calories are not counted twice. You can try to edit or delete and log the activity again. When you log the activity you should see the option to log the calorie amount for the workout. For more information, please see this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
