Wrong time and battery short life on Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

2 issues or rather fatal defects:

1. Fully charged battery last less than 24 hrs even when device is 'switched off'

2. Watch fails to reestablish time unless it is synced.  All other smartwatches I own (Galaxy., Ticwatch, Amazfit) keep the time even when off and.unsynced.

The Versa is not fit for purpose - should be renamed as Unfitbit..

A TOTAL CON.

Hi there @Castalla, welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.

As you may know, your Versa battery should last up to 4 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or animated clock faces. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Regarding the time not stay synced, note  that your Versa may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

The issue is that the battery runs down even when the watch is off.
Charged to full at 10pm last night - unused until 8pm tonight when the battery showed only 9%.

Charged to 100% tonight at 9pm - watch off until tomorrow. Let's see the outcome...

@Castalla Thanks for the update. I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.
