I am about to buy a Fitbit Versa as I am very happy with the watch itself, but please could you make an XL band too?
So far I have had to spend c. £70 trying to find an XL strap to fit and also spent hours scouring Amazon UK and the Net looking for something appropriate for my XL wrist. None too chuffed. Fitbit, please take note and make XL straps to fit the bigger person.

Unfortunately that is wildly inaccurate. I bought a Large band for my versa and had always used Fitbit’s large watch bands but the one for my versa is very tight. I feel like a company who is trying to focus on fitness should make itself accessible to those of all sizes trying to work on their fitness as opposed to just those who are already physically fit.

Exactly! We don't all have normal size wrists!

That's ridiculous. My wrists measure 9+ inches. Why can't you make XL bands anymore?

I'm in the same situation. I just started Weight Watchers and have the mindset to lose weight. Came to the leader in fitness bands only to feel rejected. Are there any 3rd party XL bands available for the Versa 2?

Does anyone know what the pin size is on the Versa 2? 22mm is normal watchband size was just curious?

My husband goes to the gym 5 days a week at least and just has a large wrist. Since large is the only option, it’s what he wears and as a result- it is too tight and he has the infamous Fitbit Rash. It’s ridiculous that we are expected to spend the money on the device but you cannot accommodate all sizes of people.

AlejandraFitbit, please contact the appropriate (and hopefully more responsive) authority figure within your organization, as this is a genuine need for many customers, current and potential. Body builders and others who want to use your product will be driven away by the company turning its back on their needs. I have a 9" wrist and I'm ready to return the product for reasons covered quite well in this thread.

Good luck BeniG ...they pretty clearly do not care at any level

After a year of frustration with my Versa band being too small, I found an alternative silicone band on Amazon which is marginally larger. It will still not help everyone, but it does go up to 9.9". For me this little bit of extra room made all the difference and I can wear the watch normally instead of tightly around the top of my hand. The brand is called RIOROO. I hope this helps somebody else. Good luck to all, since Fitbit will not assist!

I gave up and bought an Apple Watch (and an iPhone). No problems with wrist size with their bands.

Slingload I will be doing the same as soon as this device dies... I'm sure it won't be long!

I found a Chinese steel mesh band on Amazon.com that works for me. It was only like $13 (FitBit would probably price it about 4-5 times that much). I'll use the watch, but I'm not happy with the attitude that fails to address customer (and potential customer) needs.

This is simply not accurate. Fitbit needs to develop an XL band!

They probably can save on development cost by sourcing one of the already available Chinese bands, and then mark them up 4-5 times. My Chinese mesh band is doing fine, and if it fails, I'll replace it with another of the same. No need to pay Fitbit's inflated prices.

What kind of answer is that?? You did not address the actual question. I am not even overweight I just have really large wrists and this thing is way to tight. I purposely bought the one with the extra band thinking it would be large enough. With that said I was shocked that you give such a poor wristband with this to begin with. A cheap latex band that does not breathe and causes a rash. This will be the last fitbit I ever buy if you continue to use such a cheap band for such and expensive little device.
Resolve XL bands and bands that don't cause a latex allergy.
Thank you,
Shmitty

I have the same problem - I need an XL band. Fitbit - if you do not do an XL band why have it on your sizing chard, alternatively drop the L size and produce XL instead. People can always cut the end down but you cannot add to it.

I understand if FITBIT doesn't want to make XL bands for those that need one. Can FITBIT at least recommend another manufacturer that offers an XL compatible band? Thank you. I purchased an extender from amazon for my blaze and it was not compatible. Now I have the versa and am in the same spot looking for an extender. I don't want to buy one again, if it will not fit the versa. Thanks for your help.

I got sick of waiting around for them to come up with a solution for this and having a band that doesn’t fit right. It doesn’t really seem like they give a crap. I love my new Apple Watch with many great aftermarket bands that work.
