I kept getting this issue and my Versa will not sync to my phone for the past 3-4 days. I am using the Huawei P10+ running on Android 8.0.0.

 

I have tried to uninstalled the app, turn off Bluetooth and GPS and un-pair and re-pair my Watch to my phone. Is this due to a faulty watch?

Your phone is not on the list of Fitbit Approved Devices.
