Zone Minutes don't match up between app and Versa 2

When I do a workout and get over 20 zone minutes, my fitbit will show it but when I go to the app to sync, it changes the number (yesterday the app recorded 18 zone minutes while my fitbit said I had 28).  How can I get the numbers to match up?

Thank you for the information provided.

 

Please make sure to have the latest firmware version for the Fitbit Versa 2 (72.1.9) and the latest Fitbit app version (iOS 3.42 or Android 3.42.1).

 

For instructions on how to check your firmware version, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I find the version number for my Fitbit device?". To check your Fitbit app version please visit this site and open the menu "How do I update the Fitbit app?".

 

Whether the above doesn't help, please restart your watch by following these steps.
