after 8 months of using Versa, battery started dying within 2 days or less

I received My Fitbit Versa for Christmas, and it was lasting 4-5 days without charging and also after receiving notification of Low battery, I still had a day or more until it would die, to charge it.

Now on the second day after charging, I receive notification of low battery and couple of hours later , its dead...

Horrible, as I don't have time to get home and charge it, if I am at work, and don't know if I achieved my daily exercise and step goal. Very upsetting.

Please advise, what to do. ...sad... is it finished?

Sorry to say - but it's the beginning of the end for your Versa...I also got mine for Christmas - I am waiting for my replacement - the battery started going, the watch wouldn't synch, was losing time, etc. Nothing helped - couldn't get it to synch. I'm using my old workhorse Charge2 until my replacement arrives. I'll use the new one for the six months that it lasts and then I'm going to research my options (likely not a Fitbit).

Really? I understand batteries not lasting, but there's no way to replace a dead battery in a Versa2?

How do you go about getting it replaced?  I got mine for Christmas also and it started losing time and is now 10 days and a few hours off.  I've tried everything too but nothing helps.

How do I replace it, you mean buy new? Or there is warranty? it doesn't come cheap to buy new one every 8 months...

Btw, I am not using any gadgets on it... only sleep , step and exercise tracking.... nothing else ... maybe the new update I applied recently or settings were changed? Is there solutions?

Yes, call customer support. They will make you jump through a lot of hoops and redo everything you've probably done a dozen times already before they issue you a replacement (which is probably a refurb).

I bought mine through amazon.com and it got here july 2nd.  The battery used to last 4 days now I'm charging it first thing in the morning, afternoon, and before I go to bed.  This is ridiculous.

I've already had conversations with them and they've seen from my account I have tried to sinc it several times, loaded and reloaded the app numerous times. They keep sending me lincs with stuff to try. Nothing works!Sent from my U.S.Cellular© Smartphone
