I believe there are quite a few people who wear multiple trackers/devices. I know someone who wears a Fitbit and a Garmin. I think a lot of these people like the smartwatch features of the Apple watch etc, but also don't want to give up the community aspect of the Fitbit. As there are many fitbit devices to choose from especially discreet ones, I don't believe it to be too uncommon.
