black screen fades to gray screen

Fitbit is less than 1-yr old.

My black screen (with white clock hands) fades to a white screen after a few seconds.

The gray screen is hard to read -- like an old "snowy" TV.

The gray screen fades out after another 5 seconds or so.

Why ?

p.s. battery life now is less than 30 min. (from 100% to zero)

Hi @berniemc , restart your Versa three times with the two buttons method. If that does not solve your problems, call Customer Support asap cause you might suffer a hardware issue and since it's less than 1 year, it still should be under warranty and thus eligible for a replacement.
