ive been using my versa 2 for 2 days now and i think theres a problem with the calorie count. on the first day it said i burnt 6k plus calories with 12k steps and today it said i burnt 8k plus calories with 17k steps. im 140kg(308lbs) working in a professional kitchen and its normal for me to surpass 10k steps daily. but i dont think im burning 6-8k plus calories that easily. ive taken my bmr into account and it says it should be 2418 calories/day. i dont really understand this. if anyone could help that would be great! thanks in advance!

I agree, that does seem like a lot, but I suppose you are quite being on your feet all day at work.

First I suggest you check you have your weight logged into Fitbit correctly.  Sometimes people find there is a big error in weight, causing calorie burn to be way off.

Then on phone app, look at calorie burn throughout the day.  Tap on calories burned a the top, then tap on any day to see bar chart of calories burned in every 15 minute period throughout the day.  That doesn't automatically give you the answer, but it might help to see your calorie burn during work, when off-work, and when asleep (asleep should be ~BRM rate), just to see the patterns and see if any particular time of day seems to be particularly unreasonable.

Another place to look is heart rate.  It should correspond fairly well to the calories burned chart, as calorie burn is related to heart rate.  To see heart rate, tap on heart rate tile on phone app, then on particular day to see graph of heart rate throughout the day and see if the heart rates look reasonable to what you would expect, if you have manually taken your heart rate in the past, to get an idea of what yours usually is during different activities.  It is  conceivable if Fitbit is just reading your heart consistently too high, that would lead to elevate calorie burn, but if would probably take quite a bit of error there to make that much difference.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
