can i set up my brand new versa with the windows app on my laptop without a mobile device avaiable

my new versa is not compatible with my honor 6a and the only other option i have got (i dont have a friend with a compatible phone or tablet)  is my windows 10 laptop (has bluetooth). i download the windows store fitbit app. is it possible to set up my new versa through the laptop only through bluetooth and home wifi ?  i am pretty desperate

Hi, on your Versa set BT in the settings to pairing. On your laptop add the Versa to BT Devices: Settings - Switch on BT - press add device and Windows will start searching for it. When found the Versa will be added to the BT list. If you see your Versa there, you can disable BT and close settings. When you're logged in on your Fitbit acount, type in the address bar of your laptop: www.fitbit.com and you will see your personal dashboard showing the stats that are on your Versa. Good luck!!

i cannot operate the versa itself because it is brand new and is not set up, is there anything i can do then ?

Hi, aren't you not able to go the settting (swipe from the right to the left on the home display of your Versa untill you see "settings") of the Versa and press it, scroll down to BT and set it to pairing?? Most be possible. If not, then read this article about how to setup your device on a computer using Fitbit Connect. Press the link and after that press "Trackers and Watches" and scroll down to right underneath the first video where it says "Fitbit Connect".
