I just got a new Versa. IT COMES WITH NO DIRECTIONS EXCEPT FOR 'DOWNLOAD FITBIT APP'. Not good enough for a non techy 70 year old. The directions I found did not work on my computer. There was no 'open main menu' words on the screen, no 'set up new device' words on the screen, no 'choose device and follow directions' words on the screen. Worst of all is I can't find ANYPLACE that tells me I can call the company for help. I need click by click help with what shows up on my screen. I'm totally stuck! I hate that things don't come with written directions!

Most people use a phone to setup and manage their fitbit and it sounds like you have found instructions that relate to phones rather than a computer.
If you have a Windows 10 computer and it has bluetooth then the fitbit app from the windows store should work but if you have an earlier version of windows or use a Mac then it may be a problem as described at: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-com-Dashboard/Which-devices-sync-with-a-Macbook-Pro/m-p/30773...
What computer are you using? Do you have access to a compatible phone? (the list of supported devices is at www.fitbit.com/devices )
There is help on the setup in the manual at https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_versa_en_US.pdf
And in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1873/
I think the reason they don't provide a print of these instructions is that things change so quickly that they would quickly be out of date. They can update the online help when necessary.
If you do find you need to contact fitbit customer support (via phone, chat, email etc) then you can do so via: contact.fitbit.com
