That would depend on what type of phone that you have @playful-bunny 

If an iOS device, then Apple has blocked third parties from responding. 

As for calls, you should be able to tell the Phone to answer the call..

i ment if u could text baqck on the watch or if u could only do it on the iphone

Fitbit has a Quick Reply feature (https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2344/) to text back but as @Rich_Laue says, this only works with fitbits connected to an Android phone so you can't do it with your iPhone.

On android yes, on iOS no, apple blocks this feature.
