moved from Garmin Vivosmart to Fitbit Versa today and regretting it already.

was stuck on updating for 5 hours out of the box during the setup. finally restarted and still didn't work.

fitbit app on android is a joke. sluggish. not responsive at all. and full of connectivity issues with BT / Wifi with the versa.

as a firmware / hardware engineer who designs and writes code for embedded devices like these, take it form me, Fitbit prematurely released a badly designed product as a reaction to the apple watch.. so many issues..  now after having purchased this lemon i see the forums rife with Versa issues.

issues i struggled with

1. firmware update stuck for ever. it never updated so i gave up and hard reset the versa and force killed the fitbit app

2. watch face / apps installing again taking forever. worked after two restarts and force closing the fitbit app.

3. heart rate showing erratic values. not idea how to fix this

4. not syncing even after i force sync using the app - versa unable to find device. BT was on !
