You can log a driving activity for that period, that should remove any steps and floors that were added during that time.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Exercise tile. This is the tile that says “Track exercise" or shows how many days you've exercised this week.

  2. Tap the stopwatch icon User-added image
  3. Tap Log or Log Previous.
  4. Enter Driving as the exercise type and enter the date, start time, and duration.
  5. Tap Add or Log it. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

Alternatively you can use the Drivebit app on your phone. You press start when you start driving and stop when you finish, it will then automatically perform the steps posted above. Make sure to sync your Fitbit after so that the extra steps are removed from there as well as your account.

i also just purchased a Versa, shocked to see ive done 10,500 steps after flying and then driving..... not what i expected.

why is the device so sensitive ? i don't like the idea of having to use a 3rd party piece of software to stop it from counting...…

Need to much better. never had problems with my original fit bit.

seem to gone back 5 years
