disable and/or remove the QUICK SETTINGS that just got added

I'm on an original versa and just did firmware update.  This QUICK SETTINGS thing when you slide down from top is SUPER ANNOYING.  Please tell me how to disable this or if it's not possible to disable, please update firrmware again or add an app setting to REMOVE IT.  Super, super, super annoying!

Oh, cool.   Does that mean the app and FB will get an update so we can choose to disable this awful feature?   If so, I will upgrade to a Versa 2 adding $199 more American dollars to your company p&l sheet.

My firmware just updated in my Versa. My phone is an android. Where did the notification on or off screen disappear to on my watch????  I cannot find any way to turn on or off notifications from the actual versa. I only kept figure out now how to do it from the software. I am getting text notifications however my watch is not vibrating for them though it does vibrate for other functions including getting a phone call. Help

This is honestly the worst update to date on the Versa. Who thought it would be a good idea to mask a third of the (already tiny) screen when I try to see my notifications?

It is the worst blunder in the history of technology and I am going to start a GoFundMe to raise 7.5MIL in order to remove this godforsaken feature off of my watch.  I hate it more, every day.

Remove the Quick Settings! It's super annoying when trying to see my text message. Who thought this was a good idea to begin with? Aside from that Quick replies does not work!

I just updated my Fitbit’s firmware and now I’m really wishing I hadn’t. This whole quick settings thing really is awful. It covers up my notifications AND it’s stuff that I would/will never ever ever use. It’d be really nice if this feature was gotten rid of all together, though giving us the option to disable it would be good too. Honestly, this feature hinders me more than it helps me. 

(And yes I know I’m saying things that most everyone else has said, but I’m hoping that the more of us make our opinions known, the faster they’ll hopefully fix this)

This is such a savage 'feature'.  I still just hate it so much, hate is a strong word, but it really applies here.  This all began with the last firmware update and I think it was "stock" on the Versa 2 which I surely will not be buying.

Please remove this thing, Fitbit coders.

I've had my Versa for a few months and have been very happy with it. UNTIL I updated yesterday and got this new  "FEATURE". It is THE WORST. It is driving me crazy after less than 24 hours. Notifications are the #1 reason I upgraded from my Charge2 so I can see all of them at work without being obvious. And now this stupid drop down gets in the way EVERY time. Who would be changing their settings so often that they would want them to override seeing notifications?

I agree. It's awful! It's so hard to clear notifications. It would be fine if it was optional. Or if I could have the left side button show it and the swipe down just show notifications (or vice-versa).

Right!! I am so annoyed by this feature. I really hope they get their sh** together and fix this stupid issue. It literally makes no sense to have a useless option pop up EVERY single time we swipe down to view our texts. Ugh, annoying AF!

This is a baked in feature that got put into Versa2 at launch and 2 updates ago baked itself into the original Versa.  I absolutely hate it so much and I need it to go away.

This is turning into COMEDY now.  Quick settings nightmare, no snap notify and now as of today, YUP.. no text notifications..  I am going to toss this ting in the garage and get the Samsung.  I've had it.

My Versa has a "Quick Settings" screen that I cannot remove, I cannot see the time, my steps and I cannot use any other features of the watch.  I need to know how to fix this so I can use my watch!

Yes it is very annoying. Why have they not removed it already or give us an option yet???
