After calling customer support I am being told there is no coverage for my Versa because there is only a one year warranty which was up in April of this year but yet there are other parts of North America that have 2 year warranties in which case it would be covered???? This should be covered no matter what for the amount of money we pay for these watches. I am told I have to post to this community site to get someone from San Francisco to respond to this issue.

Hi @Klubertaz the warranty is one year for the US residents. Read the warranty information here - click
Sorry this happened to you. Many purchased the extended warranty from Square Trade that Fitbit sells. Even if you purchased the Fitbit from another retailer, you can get Square Trade directly. I'll notify a moderator about your post and they will be by to assist you. Thanks for stopping by the forums.

Hey @Odyssey13 , thanks for letting me know about the concerns from @Klubertaz .
@Klubertaz , a warm welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing your experience and concerns.
As our friend Odysssey13 mentioned and on the article shared, the warranty in North America covers the devices 1 year long. But you could purchase a protection plan that would extend your warranty 1 year longer.
I apologize that support sent you to post your concerns in the Community! As at this moment I can only confirm what Odyssey13 already informed you.
As I don't have access to your case I contacted support to reach out to you and provide you with more information regarding your warranty and your case, as you still have any question regarding it. You'll receive an Email very soon with more information.
Please let me know if I can do anything else for you
