My app on my moms phone only says to connect a fitbit ace which I am not going to be getting a fitbit ace for my birthday I am going to be getting a fitbit versa lite but i do not know what to do when I get it to connect it to the app

Hi @ChloeS222  how old are you? There are rules about the ages to use certain devices. The Ace 2 is for those under 13. There is no real workaround for this.
