can anyone help please as its clearly not doing what it supposed to?

@thefatcat1 A couple things come to mind. First, make sure your wrist setting is correct. There is a choice for dominant and non-dominant. Second, do you have any daily activities that limit arm movement while walking, like pushing a cart? Wrist worn tracker depend on arm movement to count steps. Activities that limit arm movement make the device undercount steps.

hi thanks for the answer, the fitbit is on my left hand (non dominant) and no i am literally walking from one end of the house to the other and counting the steps and it misses about 4 out of every 20, thanks?
So not sure why its not counting them all?
