although it seems to be tracking steps okay (if I look on my phone app), my fitbit screen is not showing any data. The screens appear partial, no data. Tried re-setting, doesn't help. The main screen with the time at top, below the shoes on the left, the heart in the middle and the flame on the right appear but there is not data showing. If I swipe right and tap on the fitbit logo, all I see are icons and no data whatsoever.

Hi @Hawaiigreg - what if you swipe the left edge of the watch to the right, to get to Quick Settings, do you see the six icons and are they correctly set.
You may have a way h problem though so contact support via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
