I called fitbit today because like many in this community, my 18-month old Versa had utterly failed-battery started draining, it quit counting steps and heartbeat. I changed watch faces, reset many times, did all the things on this community to no avail. The individual on the phone was amazing and really professional. AND could do nothing for me but offer me a 25% discount on a new one and suggest that I buy the warranty because fitbit warranty is only one year. I am so incredibly disappointed at Fitbit's unwillingness to stand by their products. I chose this one carefully after much research. Please consider charging slightly more and standing by your product for a longer period of time versus forcing consumers to an extended warranty. Quality improvement obviously appreciated. You have lost my business but have an obligation to do better by your other customers.

I had the same thing offered to me when my Fitbit screen popped out of place while doing a workout! They said because it was past the 12 months that the best they could do is 25% off a new one! I will never purchase another Fitbit product ever again!
