Hi, if you really mean that you've reset it, as in Factory reset, you indeed cannot get the data of your steps. A factory reset does just what it says: reset it back to the settings when it still was in the factory and never has been bought and, thus, setup by it's new owner. Is this what you mean, or did you just restarted your Versa?

I reset it as if it was a new fit bit. How do I restart it just in case I encounter this same issue.

In my first answer you see "Restarted" , if you press that it will show you how to restart your Versa. To make it simple: press the left and right lower key buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Your Versa is now restarted.
