i want to set up my fitbit so all sleep after dinner is automatically added to that nights sleep. this should be a setting and not a daily manual adjustment.
right now, the “extra” nap sleep is recorded but it isnt helpful or useful.
sync device is iphone 6

Hi, @perknu , if you lie down after dinner and stay in bed continuously until the next morning, then your Fitbit will register that as a nice long night’s sleep. Unfortunately from what it sounds like what you want, if you snooze for an hour or so after dinner and then get up and move about and do chores etc, it will think you had a lovely nap and will not count your night’s sleep until you go properly back to bed. It will all count as “sleep” and will count toward your total sleep goal, but will appear in separate sleep sessions.
Unfortunately if a sleep duration is less than 3 hours you will not get sleep “stages” as there will not be enough data to calculate.

Fitbit records the sleep on the day that you wake up.
Two sleep periods that are separated by an hour or less of being awake will be treated as one continuous sleep period.
