length of wristband include actual watch?

Okay so I am trying to determine if the large watch band will fit me and when I printed out the sheet of paper from Fitbit.com, the largee just fits on me but its close, however, I was wondering if the sheet of paper does not include the extra like inch you get from the watch? Or is it included, because if i get to add an inch for the watch then it will fit fine, but if not it will be really close. I dont want to buy one without knowing so I dont waste my money.

Hello @rebeccaromanek and welcome to the Help forums.  That sizing tool is wrist size and there is leeway built in for overlap.  Trying to get an exact length with a classic band is tough.  It attaches to the device at an angle and doesn't lie flat.  So I put my large woven band on which does lie flat.  The exact length of everything, including the whole length of the buckle is 10 1/8" or 260 mm.  I'm trying to eyeball the real overlap length.  If your wrist is smaller than the large size limit, it looks like you will have just about an inch of overlap.

If you buy your device from Fitbit, there is a 45 day, no questions asked return policy.  You are going to be close.  Only you can decide if there is enough overlap.

OKay that kind of helps. I am still a little unclear but I will have to buy it and see. If the ~wristband + actual watch~ is only 8.7 inches it may not fit me, but if just the wristband is 8.7 and then I also get the extra inch from the watch, then it will fit me.

@rebeccaromanek   I tried to add a photo, but it kept saying that the file size is too big.  The large woven wristband plus the watch (exact length of everything) is just a little more than 10 inches.  You lose a little usable length with the buckle overlap.  I am guessing that you will need either the third or fourth hole from the end.  You might be happy with the fourth hole from the end.  It might be iffy if you need the third hole from the end.

Sorry I can't get the picture to upload.
