miles not displaying my set goal correctly

I have a Fitbit Versa 3.  Very pleased with it.  I have one issue:

I have set the daily activity goals for, steps, distance, calories, active zone minutes and floors.  When the app opens it displays the steps, miles, cals and floors and fills green when I reach those goals.  The Miles icon is not using my set goals, its using data from my longest walk (not the goal I set in settings).  When I click on the miles icon and look at previous days, it does however display a star on the days that I reached my set mile goal.   All the other icons reflect my set goals except miles which is set to the goal of a previous maximum distance.   Why…

Are you sure that the miles icon goal is using data from your longest walk and not your set goal converted to different units?  Fitbit has a long reported history of getting miles and km confused on daily goals.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

it gives me a star  (reached my set goal) on all the day that I walked the set miles.  The icon in the opening app screen is using a max mile I reached two weeks ago
