music transfer from mac to fitbit versa

I have read most of the music to Fitbit Versa from mac articles but none of them have been a success for me.

I have set up my Versa on my iPhone and it has worked splendidly. All I need to do now is transfer my music from my mac.

I downloaded the Fitbit Connect application on my mac but there has been a problem.

I signed into my account and clicked on the "Manage My Music Button."

Then I got this message: "Sorry, this feature is only available when you have a watch paired to your Fitbit account. To pair, please use the Fitbit mobile app."

So naturally, I went back and clicked "Set Up a New Fitbit Device" but when I went through the process, there was no Versa space. It said, "*Mobile setup only: Ionic Versa Aria 2 Ace"

I groaned in frustration and searched all the forums... I made sure my mac and Versa were on the same internet connection, I turned off my iPhone bluetooth... To no avail, none of the suggestions helped.

Can anyone please help me set up my music? I would love to be able to fully use this...

Thanks!

Are you logged into Fitbit connect on the MAC with the same email that your logged into on the Fitbit phone app.

If you where any tracker connected the the phone will be connected to the MAC.

I would check that the emails match.

Solved - so I tried everything on these threads, and all I would get was "Sorry, this feature is only available when you have a watch paired to your Fitbit account. To pair, please use the Fitbit mobile app." was about to through my watch,iPhone and Mac out of the window with frustration, when something occurred to me. When logging on to the Fitbit Connect app on my mac I had been using the "log in with Facebook" option, at the point of trying anything different I thought what happens if I log in using my email and password for my Fitbit account rather than trying to shortcut it and VOILA it worked first time. The answer is log in with your Fitbit email and password and hopefully you will also have success, no need to mess about creating separate music folders or any other mystical method. Good luck.

Thank you so much! I had the same issues and swear I have read every forum out! Stupid Facebook login is the problem! As soon as I logged in with the email and password (had to reset my password) it all worked. So much wasted time until I found this answer.

After originally transferring music successfully to my Fitbit versa 2, I now want to add some more tracks. I'm facing the same problem as above. I go into my account to add an email address as I think I originally signed up with my Facebook account in the first place, only to find some strange activity access on my account using a Windows computer. I then go into my settings to and see there is an email address associated with my house that is not mine! I cannot reset the password for the account as I do not have access to this email address with a totally different name attached to it!

I went back to my Fitbit email threads and found an email that I would have received at 2am on May 24 requesting an email address change on my account (which I missed).

So looks like someone has gained access to my account. Thanks, Fitbit.
