notification service not active - versa 2 and Huawei P30 Pro

Since yesterday my versa 2 stopped receiving messages from my phone. When I go to notifications within my Fitbit app it says;  notification service not active, reboot phone to enable notifications. A day later, about 50 reboots and tried all the options given on the website, it is still not working...

 

What can I do so that it works again?? I have a Huawei P30 Pro, and it should work with this phone as I purchased my versa 2 after I read all the phones that should be working with the versa 2 on the official Fitbit website. Before yesterday, it worked fine. I did run a software update for my phone yesterday, maybe versa 2 also needs an update?

I am having the same issues with my Huawei P30 lite. I cannot receive any notifications on my fitbit versa lite. 

I follow all the instructions as you have with the same results. 

I bought this phone as it stated that it was compatable with my fitbit. 

All updates have been done so any ideas please???
