original versa touch screen not responding, does what it wants

the touch screen on my versa often doesn't respond to my touch. it has started replying to messages, opening apps, swiping screens, pretty much whatever it feels like doing its been doing. also sometimes when i push the button to light up the screen the screen will flash and shut right back off. its an older watch that i haven't had really any issues with until now and nothing i do seems to help so i'm wondering if its actually completely broken now. i've turned it off and back on a bunch of times and also did a factory reset on it and still having the same issues. i've also tried to do the live chat with a fitbit support person but before i actually get to talk to someone the chat ends so i have not been able to get help that way. please help me i don't have the money to buy a new watch and i really love my versa!

Hi @Ashley_89 - as you say it's an old watch so may have problems but try cleaning it.

Try syncing and a Shutdown from the Watch Settings, About menu. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.

Also try restarting the phone to gain the optimal situation.
