I like to wear my versa watch face on the inside of my wrist as opposed the traditional position on top of wrist. Does this adversely impact accuracy or does it have no impact? looked in manual and I see no mention.

I would expect no difference for steps but might have harder time picking up heart rate.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
