Did you mean:

"Card not accepted. Please use chip reader" error

Hello,

I have set up properly my debit card link with my Versa, and have tried it at multiple Subway and Starbucks locations, always with the same result:

"Card not accepted. Please use chip reader."

I talked to Fitbit and they said my bank, US Bank, was approved for this. They suggested I call US Bank. I did, and they said it is set up properly and nothing else they can do. Anyone have any ideas?

If it helps, Starbucks and Subway have the same systems around here, and they are where I usually and successfully (with the same card) can use my phone to pay.

Best,

Ben

A warm welcome to the Forums @benjaminBlue.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If you haven't checked if US Bank is listed to use with Fitbit, I recommend taking a look at our list of banks by clicking here. If your bank is listed and still having issues, in the help article What should I know about Fitbit Pay? are some steps you can follow, like deleting and setting up one more time your card.

Let me know how it goes. Robot Happy
