My main screen on my versa shows a "clock error". My other screens are addressable, but I can't do an update or load a new screen. I have a note 5, and I've never had this problem. I've messed w/ this for hours, charged it, turned it on/off, I'm just trying to figure out what I should I do. I like this watch, I don't want to get complicated. Any ideas?

It’s crazy what do we do to fit this error, hopefully they will bring a new update out to fit it. Not brilliant!

@Catfoxx23 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it shows a "Clock" error and the the clock face can't be changed. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your watch internally. Once you've done this, change the clock face. Make sure to select one developed by Fitbit, not a third party one and see if the display stops showing the "clock error".
Keep me posted on the outcome!

Loads of people having the same issue. Mine loses time and won’t connect to Bluetooth or WiFi.
All was fine until this latest update. If you read through the forum lots of issues.
I have done everything that fib bit say to fix it. Still the same. Thought I had solved it earlier.. but nope lost connection and WiFi after about a minute.

I'm having exactly the same problem.
Have restarted it a couple of times but it still keeps saying the same error and installing on the app fails every time.
Did you happen to receive any solution yet?

I bought a Versa2 and while setting up got the clock error, presumably because I used a non-Fitbit clock face on my Versa. I couldn't get out of it after days of trying everything possible posted in the forum. Finally, I returned it to Best Buy. Why do they offer the non-Fitbit clock faces if they cause a problem? Back to my Versa until I find something less irritating.

I had the same problem on my versa lite, so they had me try a factory reset, that didn't work, so they sent me a replacement. seemed to work fine changing clock faces until i chose one from the new feature. as soon as i clicked on one of the 5 ones I had used before it would not install and or completely install and now it is draining my phone battery. they had me now do a factory reset on the replacement one they sent me and for the last 1/2 hour it says it is trying to find my versa lite which is sitting right next to it. It has been attempting this update for 2 hours now and is not getting anywhere. it is not clockfaces it is the new feature when you choose one you had before that the update places in the last 5 you had.

did you choose to install a clock face that was in thethe new feature stores the last 5? I did and that is when the nightmare started on my original fitbit and the replacement one they sent me now too. for the last 2 hours it has been attempting a factory reset update and for the last 1/2 says it can not find my versa lite which is sitting right next to it.

I woke up this morning with the same error
(Note I have NEVER changed the clock face before)
I can not restart the watch as nothing happens when I hold the buttons to restart it
The watch can also not be used for example I can swipe to the alarm and click on it, but it does not open.
I can swipe up and it says today with no additional info
Watch does not want to sync with app so I cannot even try to change the face
A few months ago I got a different error and watch needed to be replaced...I am going to be very disappointed in Fitbit if this watch must also be replaced

How did you contact Fitbit? I’m not finding a way to contact them, and my brand new watch is stuck in clock error and the only light on the back that’s lit up is red/green.
