I am using Win 7. Everything works okay but an error pops up when watch plugged into charger. Device manager states driver not found.

It's great to see you here @coolbranch and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.
I have to agree with our friend here, that message might be just for letting you know that something was placed into the USB port.
And as our friend mentioned, if you have Windows 10, you will be able to sync your watch even if it is not plug to the cradle, just by having internet connecting and the Bluetooth on. Now, if you have Windows 7, you need to have Fitbit connect downloaded and a dongle.
If there is anything else we can help you with, let us know.

I would not worry about this, the charge cable for the versa is only for charging. Or so we have been told.
I see both the unit and the Charger have 4 pins, so yes the cable might be able to sync data. But I believe this would require Win 10.
One thing you could try is to install fitbit connect, this would be the way to install the fitbit drivers .
You will need a driver for the Fitbit dongle if your going to use Win 7 to sync the tracker .

Where do I get a dongle? Can I use the one that came with my original Fitbit?

Yes, Fitbit makes only one dongle.

You are correct. I'll just stick with mobile device sync.

Hi,
I have trouble getting my Fitbit Versa 2 to charge. Right now it is totally powered down, due to flat battery. Even though I tried to insert the charger to my Windows 10 pc, and charge the Fitbit there, nothing happens. What is wrong? Is my charger broken? My wife have a Versa 2 as well, and when she encountered the same problem, I just charged it via the PC, and it worked like a charm 🙂 But why isn't it working with my Fitbit?
Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Why not use the same supply you use to charge the phone? Your pc barely puts out 500Ma the phone charge is 2-3 times better.

Thank you for your tip, but I have already tried that. Unfortunately, to no help. Maybe I have to contact the store where I bought my Fitbit?

As I suspected all along, the battery was defective. After all the steps that Fitbit asked me to do, they finally replaced the device.

I have Windows 10 Pro 64bit and a dongle (refurb sold by Fitbit) and it does not Sync. Also, says there is no driver.

A mentioned above the driver not found is because of an unknown device bring plugged in.
The versa can only sync through the cable so this error is to be expected.
Have you installed the Fitbit app into windows?
Is your tracker setup and attached to your Fitbit account?
Does the computer have Bluetooth? The Versa only syncs through Bluetooth.

i recently bought the fitbit versa 2 and am trying to load it with music for when i have no internet, the webpage for fitbit connect doesnt work on my computer, it always redirects me. further, the fitbit app does not let me sign in without saying network error and reseting me to the login page, these issues are infuriating and id like to solve them so as to not have wasted my money.
