I am getting message " Fitbit server not working" What needs to be done.. My new versa is not getting started

Him @RamRamR . Are you still getting this error message? I’m not aware of any server issues but would suggest you try the following:

  • Turn your phone off. Power it down completely. 
  • Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the left and right bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo. Then release the buttons. If you have the Versa Lite, you only have to press and hold the left button. 
  • Once your Versa is back to the clock face, power your phone back on. 

Hopefully this will get everything back to where it should be. Please let us know if you can sync after following these steps.

@RamRamR I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Adding to what @SunsetRunner mentioned, I would like to suggest you the following:

  • Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Turn off WiFi and Mobile Data for 15 seconds, then turn them back on.
  • Make sure you have a strong internet connection and that there are no other Bluetooth devices around and then try to set up your Versa again. 

Give this a try and let us know the outcome!
