I got a new versa 3. The heart rate has not worked yet. In my searching to fix it, every article says to make sure heart rate is enabled in settings on the device. There is nothing that says heart rate under the settings menu on the device. There is also nothing that says this under the settings in the Fitbit app. Please help.

Hello @offmylawn
Your Versa 3 already has the heart rate enabled. You can’t turn off heart-rate tracking on Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Versa 3.
Versa 3 continuously tracks your heart rate while you're exercising and throughout the day. If the heart-rate sensor on your watch has difficulty detecting a signal, dashed lines appear.
If your watch doesn't detect a heart-rate signal, make sure you're wearing your watch correctly, either by moving it higher or lower on your wrist or by tightening or loosening the band. Versa 3 should be in contact with your skin. After holding your arm still and straight for a short time, you should see your heart rate again.
Here is a link to the Fitbit Versa 3 manual: https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/manual_versa_3_en_US.pdf
😃I hope this answers your question. Please let me know

Thank you for the reply, but it did not work 😔. I contacted Fitbit and they replaced it. Turns out I had a defective watch.

Oh my @offmylawn what a bummer! 😕
But, with that said I’m happy to hear they are sending you another Versa 3 and hopefully you receive it quickly. 😃 I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
