"Pick up the pace" nag - how to turn off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My watch just vibrated and told me I should be working harder, with a "pick up the pace" message and some figures underneath.

I never turned this feature on. The app has never told me anything about it or asked me if I want it.

How do I turn it off? And how do I stop Fitbit from arbitrarily deciding to interrupt my day without my permission in future?

Just a guess...

I would suggest looking at the "Health & Wellness Reminders" on your Versa 2 Settings page in the mobile app. There is a "Get your heart pumping" toggle. Personally, I was so aggravated by the reminders I turned them all off.

I also turned off the "Step Goal Milestones" and "Exercise Goal Milestones" in the Account page's "Notifications" page.

Good luck.

Hi there. Thanks for the reply and for suggesting the health and wellness reminder settings might be responsible.

Unfortunately, though, my app already has all of these turned off, so it must be something else.

Hi,

In the app under your account scroll down to Privacy and Security and underneath that is Notifications, I have them all turned off except for low battery and earning a new badge.  But Cheers and Taunts definitely turned off!

Thanks. There are lots of options under that setting, and it's not clear which one this would fall under (if it is one of them) - "cheers and taunts" is described as "a friend cheers or taunts you", and the notification I received came from Fitbit, not a friend. I don't want to turn off something I'd like to keep trying to get rid of this alert. It should be clearly identifiable in the settings. I'd like Fitbit to make clear how to control its notifications.

I can't find where this nag is coming from either ... let us know if you figure out how to turn it off

Just a thought since the others are <<edit>> not <</edit>> doing it for you - check any apps you have on the device itself. I removed a heck of a lot of them and I'm sure more than one were "goal oriented". Then look at the settings for any and see if they have any "motivators" associated with them.

As I said, just a thought, but maybe worth the effort.

On your Versa 2 watch under Settings, make sure Active Zone reminders is turned off.
