Versa stuck at 'unlock with your phone', but I don't have sync setup any more. Instructions for device reset or factory reset on this forum don't work. Any ideas how to get this back to working?

Ammalasi, this worked! Took about 30 or so tries to get the timing just right. The "virtual button" on the Versa 3 makes it difficult as you don't really know if it's "pressed" or not so you just have to keep trying.
Thanks to you and no thanks to Fitbit customer service.

I've done step 1 and 2. But I don't have an option to reset my pin. It just ask me to enter my last pin number. But it's not accepting what I'm typing, Even though it is the correct pin.

This does work, you just need to time the button press properly. Took me ages to get it to work but et voila, on 3rd or 4th attempt, the Red X came up and I managed to totally reset and link to Phone App. So stick with it... it works.

I am facing the same issue where my Fitbit versa is suddenly showing this message "unlock with your phone". And i am not able to find that option so i deleted my device settings.
Now when I am trying to pair again "the unlock with your phone " popup is barring the code for pairing. Please help out in resetting.

Try the TrustinJohn reply. Takes a while and you need to try the buttons in the right order.. it takes patience. But keep trying it.
That method works even though I was sceptical also..

Definitely works took me 2 days the timing of the press and release must be right .

Same problem and I keep going to a green keyboard with space at the top to enter 4digits, were you able to resolve?
