"Unlock with your phone" message on Versa

Hi there! I woke up this morning and my Versa was displaying a "unlock with your phone" message. I followed some troubleshooting here like disabling Fitbit Pay, logging on to the website to delete any credit cards I had (though I had none), etc. When I tried to reset my pin through the app, the app told me to do so on my Fitbit, which of course I can't do. At the time, my Fitbit was still connected and syncing with my phone. I then deleted and reinstalled.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. To unlock your watch with your phone:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image. 
  2. Tap or click Device Lock.
  3. Find the option to reset your PIN code. 

Note that after you reset your PIN code, you must add your cards to Fitbit Pay as if you were setting it up for the first time.
