"Waterproof " new Versa 2 broken after being in water for less than 20 seconds

Was pulled underwater today (for less than 20 seconds in thigh-deep riptide current,  NOT 50 meters) and my new fitbit versa 2 is completely dead. No response from your ridiculous Twitter help line. If my issues are not addressed and RESOLVED I will never buy another fitbit product and post accurate,  negative  reviews on every social media platform and website.

Fitbit customer support is doing their best, but right now be prepared for longer wait times. Please be patient. Support is limited by the number of representatives available at a given time and the hours of operation. Chat lines are open when they have live help.
