A few days ago, the calorie tracking tile in my fitbit app stopped showing "calories left". I have a Versa 2, and an iPhone XR. I am in a calorie deficit food plan (1,000 cal/day deficit), and usually when I click on the tile to go into the food logging screen, it shows how many calories I have left to eat within a certain day, based on an estimation of how many calories I will burn by the end of that day.
Now, it only shows how many calories I have burned to the minute, and how many calories I have eaten, but no estimation of how many calories I can still eat while still maintaining a deficit. This was one of the primary reasons I use the app and it is very frustrating that I can no longer access this data, as it was vital for meal planning and meal prep, as well as maintaining a weight loss trajectory. Now I feel I am shooting in the dark, as I have no idea if what I eat versus what I burn the rest of the day will even out to a calorie deficit!
Any and all help would be vastly appreciated, as the customer support I tried to contact was less than helpful and tried to explain "calories in/calories out" to me as if I was a simpleton.
