"could not load notifications" - Android galaxy note 8

For some reason notifications arent loading in the app on my galaxy note 8.

 

Troubleshooting attempted.

  1. Clearing the app cache
  2. Reinstalling the app
  3. turning off notifications, then turning them back on

At this point I'm ready to call it a bug. Anyone have any advice?

Same issue here. Just started.

 

Running fitbit ver 2.72 on a Droid Turbo 2 Android ver 7.0.

Me too. Kind of annoying because I see the little number on the app icon but when I open the app up there are no notifications about anything anywhere, but the notification screen shows that message that it can't load notifications. I don't even know what I would be getting notifications about and never really go them before, but apparently I have three now that I can't see.

I'm having the same issue on the s8. Its annoying. Seeing the red number on the app and trying to solve this and I'm not getting anywhere!

It doesn't work with Android 7 and my compatible Samsung after the firmware and app updates. I was on the phone with three people at CS for over an hour  on 5/28 before they admitted this.

 

Fitbit should just be honest and tell Android users that troubleshooting won't work until Fitbit fixes the problems.
