The screen on versa 2 is all black and does not respond to swipes or pressing the switch on the side.
Any ideas ?

This happened to me also. Customer support asked me to send device to them for replacement. That was three weeks ago and I have had no response or acknowledgement of device status. Still waiting to hear from Fitbit
