standardized or personalized tracking for versa??

I have a fitbit versa and i am not sure it tracks activity properly. i am obese and i take medication that raised my heart rate. my resting heart is at the very top of the normal range. i am not sure how that works with the fitbit algorhythms.
Because i have a high resting heart rate, it seems like my heartrate for each level of activity that is tracked by fitbit should be higher than the average persons. though i tend to reach my activity goals without much effort. i have also used my fitbit with the weight watchers app in the past and i got a lot of activity points. how do i know that my fitbit is personalized to me and not just using a standardized method of tracking?

Hello @seeluv and welcome to the Help forum.  Does your Versa award active minutes or active zone minutes?  Fitbit announced an update (Sept 2020) that is supposed to change your device from active minutes to active zone minutes.  Active zone minutes are personalized and use your resting heart rate.  The current firmware is 72.1.9.  The active minute icon looks like a lightning bolt.  The active zone minute icon is three "^"s stacked on top of each other.

Please get back if you don't have the current firmware.  I was under the impression that it was out to all users.

Honestly, I've not worn it much since last summer. The face was cracked and other than walking the dogs, my most common form of exercise is swimming. It is charging now so I will make sure the update has been made. Thank you for replying! This sounds like the distinction in activity that will help me achieve my goals.
