the pin inside of my fitbit versa broke off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The pin head inside my brand new Fitbit Versa broke off inside of my watchand I have tried everything to try to remove it.  I tried tweezers, small scissors and a paperclip.  Nothing works!

Any suggestions? I used a fitbit band, not a third party retailer, so fitbit should cover it right?? Right now it’s completelt useless 😞

Hi, when I'm correct, a new Versa always comes with two bands, the small and the larger one. Try to use the additive one. To remove the pin inside your Versa watch, use a very small pincher or a small tweezer.

I would slide a knife blade against the pin on the side of the band, I've been doing it this way since 8 years old or so.

You are not talking about the little pin that sticks out if the band? Your first post seemed to make me think this was the case.

As for a pin breaking if inside the watch, I don't understand this. Could a photo be posted.

If the first is the case I would do this.and slide the pin to the left. It might be easier to do it from the out her end20190218_101927.jpg

Hi, try to use a light magnet to remove it, but keep it far away from the sensors or try to shake your Versa firmly untill the pin comes out. Good luck!!

Same thing happened to me and they sent me a new band. Granted it was a nice gesture, but completely useless. The pin is still stuck in there with no suggestions on their end for how to remove it. Positive side I had been going between upgrading to a Versa 2 or a Galaxy. Thank you fitbit for pushing me to Samsung

I would first try a very sharp pointed object and let it out.

As with most problems like this, Google could be helpful and I found one video. The process starts at 5:00

You were lucky.  Mine is 18 months old and they didn't care.

No replacement for me.

Does anyone know where I can buy a new case.
