so yesterday my fitbit versa 2 stopped syncing, the touchscreen stopped working, and it went from 100% charge to 6% overnight. I’ve had this watch since 2020, and it does hold some sentimental value because it got me through covid, college, and has been with me for such a big part of my life (probably sounds stupid, i know). is it finally time to get another watch? any similar experiences?

Mine only lasted about a year total. I got it from my mom, after my Charge 5 died, who wore it a couple months and then didn't like it. This week it stopped syncing except when it was in the charger. Time kept getting further and further off. Then the HR tracker stopped working yesterday. Then it won't update or do anything now. I've gone through and done the list, but as with all the others, they just stop working after about a year. I don't know how you got yours to last so long. I have switched over to the cheap Inspire 2 I got to use on vacation. It's pointless to contact tech support as they just run you through the same list and then tell you it's out of warranty, but here's small coupon to buy a new one. I am so used to wearing a fitbit, that I feel weird without it, so that is not weird at all.

You are fortunate to have one last that long. The longest of mine made it two years. I’ve had 5 fitbits. They’re warranty and service sucks. They haven’t gotten their last dollar from me. I’m going to an Apple Watch from here on.
