txt notification bug? Suddenly not receiving txt notifications 6/28/19

Yesterday in the morning my Versa was working normally. I noticed late in the afternoon I had several txt messages on my Android but nothing had come thru on the Versa. I tried a couple tests and txt notifications are not working. Calendar & call notifications are. Did the standard trouble shooting, restart, un pair, re pair, verify notification settings & DND is off. Did a factory reset on Versa & phone, still no txt notifications. I reached out to FitBit help and have been advised there is a system bug with no time estimate to resolve. Has anyone else had sudden loss of txt notifications?

it's never going to work correctly. I have tried everything and fitbit support says they are working on it, but don't have a date for when it will work again. return it if you still the chance! mine is outside the return period so I am screwed, don't end up like me!
