just upgraded to versa yesterday. seems like every time i try to do something on the phone app (configure app settings, set up wallet, clock faces, etc) i got slammed with "unable to connect to versa". i've tried taking it off my wrist, putting it in the charging dock, even physically on top of the phone. if i keep trying i can generally accomplish whatever i am doing but it takes about 10 tries. v frustrating. is this normal or do i have a lemon?

Give the Versa a RESTART and do it several times if necessary.

Try turning both devices off (Versa and phone). If syncing wasn't completed before, it should start over and allow you to restart the pairing and syncing process. My Versa was giving me a hard time, I did this and it is currently updating without a problem.

i've tried rebooting the watch (twice) and phone (once) and i just tried swapping watch faces a few times to test things out and it seems about the same - a few popups about not being able to connect but it gets there eventually. yesterday i took it for a run and it started ok but then started showing "connecting" half of the time i glanced at the watch. the end result was pace and distance were dramatically off. i'll give it another try tomorrow morning but it smells like an antenna problem to me; something i had once before with an older fitbit model.

Me, too. Unable to connect with "Try Again" the only option. All I can check is "OK". I want a "NOT OK" button! Returning my fitbit. Too many problems and software bugs and glitches. Very low quality product!

I am having the same BS happening. My fitbit versa is connected and synching. All I'm doing is browsing clock faces; I'm not even choosing a clock face, and this annoying, stupid pop-up keeps appearing every few seconds, saying, "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO VERSA." What gives? Is this a bug? I'm ready to return this product if this is not fixable.

Yesterday, I bought the Versa and facing same problem. I have done each and every thing but unfortunately couldn't get success. I installed Fitbit software in 2 different phones but its not work too. I am using Huawei Nova 3i.

Any attempt to successfully transfer music is abysmal, cumbersome and impossible. I'm returning my Versa today and will wait for a smartwatch that can figure this stuff out.

So this is the officially recognized "SOLUTION" - Return it?

omg, that's what did it for me too! First night, out of the box last night, and tried to just LOOK at other clock face options and keep getting that message. I've turned off both the fitbit and my phone a bunch of times. But still trying to sync ever time I turn back on and check... it's draining the battery on my phone super fast cuz it's trying over and over again. So frustration. How do I make it stop!? Selecting "try later" does nothing... keeps flashing between that message and the "unable to connect" message. ugh... doesn't seem to be any solutions on here from what I've seen scrolling through the topics for the last half hour. I hate technology.

2 steps that may be help
- Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the FitBit Application
- Clear Bluetooth cache of your mobile phone
