I use my versa like a plain fitness tracker.
Not using 'notifications' or alexa.
So, stupid question, in my case, what features are wifi used for?
I dont think "activity sync" happens over wifi?
So, if my phone if OFF, but versa is connected to wifi,
what feature do my "fiteness tracker" part get from wifi?

According to Fitbit:

"Connect your Fitbit watch to your Wi-Fi network to download playlists and apps from the Fitbit App Gallery, and for faster firmware updates."

So, basically, wifi doesn't get used for a lot at all.
