versa 2 wont sync with galaxy samsung

i have a versa2 which stops syncing the only way to get it to re sync is to do a factory reset any ideas or help greatly appreciated

Avoid factory reset it can kill the watch.

Once you have all setup and working try this

 

On the phone check battery optimizations [the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
  • Next go to Settings > Apps  > Fitbit > Storage
  • Clear cache [not data]
  • Force stop the Fitbit App

my vera is rejecting the blue  tooth from my phone im trying to pair them again - this is a total pain

Try this sync tip, if things aren't too badly disorganised.

 

Logout then login in to the Fitbit App

 

On the main Today screen

 

Pull down to Refresh,

[a sync popup appears at the top,

- Note position of battery indicator, if its in the popup,

especially if on the left

and/or there is no green progress bar, if so]

 

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Sync

Click on the circle,

[sometimes necessary to try a few times till

it reacts]

 

Once it reacts, after a some seconds [< 10]

A request to pair will appear.

 

If no pair prompt appears

Go back to the Today screen

Repeat the process

 

It may take several tries and a bit of patience to get sorted
