My fitbit versa original showed colored lines and switched off during my workout. I have contact customer service but they offered a 25% discount on new one. My versa is just 15 months old, a shame that these devices cannot last longer. i have seen some reset solutions, can anyone help or have ideas?

@krismede Have you tried performing a factory reset (restoring versa to factory defaults)? Before factory reset, make sure you have deleted versa your phone's Bluetooth settings (not Fitbit app). To perform factory reset, open settings app on you Versa and scroll down to About. Tap it and choose factory reset. This will wipe all data from your tracker so it would be good if you could sync it first. After factory reset you will need to set up your versa again by adding a replacement device in your Fitbit mobile app. You can set up the watch back to the Fitbit account by following the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

If you cannot use the screen, you can attempt the reset using buttons:

  1. Press and hold all 3 buttons until Fitbit logo appears (this may take up to 3 minutes)
  2. Release the bottom right button
  3. Wait until you feel strong vibration and release the other buttons.

You may need to attempt the reset a few times to find the optimal times. Trying holding the buttons longer, as long as it's needed for the vibration to appear.
